My current artistic practice stems mostly from the background of two immigrations.  I was born and grew up in Ukraine. Then moved to Israel. Now I am living in USA.

In Israel I employ the observations of the outside world together with region's memorable novelty and endless history in conjunction with the experience of being an immigrant in the land of my ancestors.
Fascination with the history and traditions of Israel, which are intertwined with the search for the deep meanings of human life, inspired the creation of a series of works called 'In-S.". One of which won first prize at the prestigious 62nd Annual Art of Northeast New Canaan. This theme was continued in a series of linocuts and in a series of letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

My passion for the visual arts is closely connected with the images created by the great masters of the past. The series "Infanta Margarita" is an homage to the images of the Spanish master. The works are made using the technique of linocut, with touch ups in colored pencils. The resulting work was chosen for the 12th Biennial International Miniature Print Exhibition at The Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Norwalk, CT.

During several years, I have worked on monoprints, linocuts, and collagraphs. Often, combining all of those techniques with color pencils. The monotype printing technique allowed me to immerse myself entirely in the non-objective world of abstraction.

I have also devoted a lot of time to working digitally and expanding my visual vocabulary. My most recent solo exhibition was held in Poland and consisted entirely of digitally produced images.

My main goal and moving principle of my work is to never stop and continue moving forward, never getting hung up on one topic, develop tecniques that resonate and expand in my soul.
